Maren Lædre Bjørdal

Maren Lædre Bjørdal has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Maren Lædre began their career at Konvoi in 2005, where they worked as a Project Manager until 2007. Maren Lædre then joined Brik Teknologier as a Project Manager, focusing on web technology and professional dissemination of knowledge, until 2008.

In 2008, Maren joined Aker Solutions, where they held multiple roles. Maren Lædre started as a Communications Responsible, responsible for internal and external communications. In 2015, they became a Senior Advisor for Organizational Development and Improvement, working on strategic initiatives within HR, OD, and Continuous Improvement. Maren Lædre was also involved in organizational design and establishing a new global mandate for Fabrication and Offshore Construction.

From 2018 to 2020, Maren served as a People & Teams Manager in the Johan Sverdrup Riser Platform Modification EPCI project, where they led organizational development initiatives with a focus on delivering improvement agendas. In 2020, they took on the role of Senior Manager for Organizational Development at Aker Solutions, responsible for developing and delivering company-wide strategic initiatives and support within Leadership, Culture and Engagement, and Organizational Effectiveness.

Currently, Maren holds the position of Vice President of Organizational Development and P&O in Projects at Aker Solutions, starting in 2023. In this role, they lead a team responsible for OD in Topsides & Facilities, and Electrification, Modifications & Maintenance business segments. Maren Lædre is also globally responsible for Culture & Engagement within the company.

Maren Lædre Bjørdal completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Language and Information from the University of Bergen in 2004. In 2008, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management from BI Norwegian Business School. Later, in 2014, they obtained a Master's degree in Management from the University of Stavanger. Additionally, in 2004, Maren participated in an Intermediate Program in English at Macquarie University.
