Melissa English-Barbour

Melissa English-Barbour, BBA, COHS, CRSP, currently serves as Vice President and Head of HSSE for the Life Cycle Segment at Aker Solutions, a position held since October 2015. Prior to this role, Melissa was a Senior HSSE Manager at Aker Solutions and worked at WorleyParsons as a Quality & Risk Manager and HSE Manager, as well as a Senior Advisor for the Hebron Project from January 2011 to October 2015. Previous experience includes serving as an HSEQ Advisor at Noble Drilling (Canada) Ltd. from September 2006 to January 2011 and as an HSEQ Coordinator at K&D Pratt from May 2001 to September 2006. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Certificate of Occupational Health & Safety from the University of New Brunswick.
