David Diperna

David DiPerna, CPA, MBA, currently serves as Controller at Akerman LLP since June 2018. Prior experience includes Sr. Director of Accounting and Payroll at Hard Rock International from 2015 to May 2018, and roles at the same company from 2000 to 2014 as Director of Accounting and Payroll. David DiPerna's career began at Darden, where positions included Manager of Financial Analysis for Bahama Breeze and Senior Financial Analyst for Red Lobster, as well as Supervisor of Financial Reporting. Additional experience includes a role as Supervisor of Revenue Accounting at MetLife and Auditor at Deloitte. David DiPerna served in the US Army as a Sergeant from 1980 to 1984. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a BSBA in Accounting with a Minor in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
