Mark Bernet is a seasoned business lawyer with extensive expertise in bankruptcy litigation, loan workouts, creditors' rights, and fraud recoveries. Currently a shareholder at Akerman LLP since February 2013, Mark has also served as a federal equity receiver in various federal court cases. Previously, Mark held shareholder positions at Kass Shuler, P.A., and Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A., supervising multiple attorneys in the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Section.
