Andras Takacs has a strong background in finance and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Andras started their career as an Assistant Audit Manager at KPMG Hungary in 1994 and later became an Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen in 1999. In 2000, they joined GE Healthcare South Eastern Europe as a Finance Director before moving on to Reckitt Benckiser in 2003. At Reckitt Benckiser, they held several positions including Finance Director Hungary and Romania, Finance Director Hungary, and Finance Director CEE (Czech Rep., Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia). In 2017, they joined AKH Group as the Group CFO, and later became the Interim Group CFO. Throughout their career, Andras has gained extensive experience in managing financial operations and leading teams.
Andras Takacs has a diverse education history with a focus on auditing and accounting. Andras first attended Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a Master's degree in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics. Following that, they pursued further studies at BPP University from 1994 to 1998, achieving the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification in Accounting and Finance. Lastly, Andras attended Budapest Business University from 1997 to 2000, obtaining a Master's degree in Auditing. In addition to their formal education, Andras has also acquired certifications such as ACCA from BPP and CPA Hungary from the Chamber of Hungarian Auditors.
