Asa Reed has a diverse work experience in the software engineering and gaming industry. Asa started their career at Crispin Porter + Bogusky as an Assistant Content Manager and then moved up to the position of Content Manager. In 2008, they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Electronic Arts. Asa then joined Juxt Interactive as a Lead Game Designer, where they worked on two contract projects, including designing and engineering games for training purposes. Asa later worked at K2 Network, first as a Community Lead and then as an Associate Producer. Asa also has experience as a Producer at Reloaded Games, Inc. and as a Senior Developer at The Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc. (CARD), where they focused on creating educational games for children with Autism. In 2012, they became the Lead Developer and Designer at Foxdog Games LLC, where they spearheaded the development of iOS games. Asa joined Disney Consumer Products in 2014 as a Senior Project Engineer, managing multiple games and platform technologies. In 2016, they worked at Unity Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, acting as a Subject Matter Expert for various platforms and providing consultation to different teams. Most recently, Asa has been working at Akili Interactive as the Director of Software Engineering, leading a team and overseeing the development of digital medicine products.

Asa Reed obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis between 2001 and 2005. In 2009 and 2010, they attended Orange Coast College where they pursued Computer Science without obtaining a degree. In February 2022, Asa received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
