Denton Deloss

Denton DeLoss is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in platform engineering and data science. Currently serving as a Staff Platform Engineer at Akili since March 2017, Denton has developed systems for payment and entitlement of product access, focusing on backend data and information systems, and is skilled in leveraging tools such as the Serverless framework, AWS, CI/CD, DBT, and Terraform. Previously, Denton held roles as a Staff Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist, creating machine learning algorithms for patient behavior analysis and system user interactions. Denton’s earlier experience includes being a Software Developer at the University of California, Riverside, where game design and perceptual learning research were key contributions. Denton has a strong academic background with a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology and expertise in human factors and industrial psychology.
