Kauri Botha

Kauri Botha has a varied work experience, beginning in 2015. In that year, they were a Trainee Development Chemist at Cosmetics Laboratories of South Africa, and a Junior Data Processor at Marine Data Consultants. In 2016, they began working as a Private Tutor in Grahamstown, and also volunteered as a Tutor and Volunteer at Rhodes University and Khanya Maths and Science Club, respectively. In 2017, they worked as a Head Tutor at Mad About Maths, where they managed all other tutors, taught 15 students a day, recorded the progress of all their students, and helped in the daily administration of the office. They also volunteered at the Ikamva Youth Centre. In 2021, Kauri Botha began working as a Laboratory Coordinator at Akili Labs.

Kauri Botha completed a Higher National Diploma from Abbotts Colleges in 2010, followed by a Higher National Diploma from Fish Hoek High School in 2009. Kauri then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Microbiology from Rhodes University, which they completed in 2014. In 2016, they obtained an Honors in Chemistry from Rhodes University. Finally, Kauri Botha obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2019.
