Kristen Conte

Kristen Conte has extensive work experience in the field of marketing communications and public relations. Kristen is currently serving as the Director of Marketing Communications at the Children's Home Society of Washington since November 2019. In this role, they oversee all integrated marketing and communications strategies for the organization.

Prior to their current position, Kristen worked as a Senior Communications Consultant & Brand Strategist for various companies on a freelance basis starting from January 2016. Kristen provided brand advisement, strategic programming, media relations, and event support to companies in multiple sectors.

Kristen also has experience working as a Senior Account Director/Business Lead at GOLD PR & Social Media from December 2017 to May 2019. Kristen was responsible for overseeing comprehensive communications programs for the Invisalign brand, including traditional and social influencer media strategies.

Before that, Kristen served as a Vice President at Weber Shandwick from February 2017 to August 2017. Kristen provided senior counsel and brand management services for Amazon and Verizon, as well as various influencer marketing programs.

In 2016, Kristen worked as the Director of Public Relations for Tilray, a global leader in medical cannabis. Kristen developed and managed the company's global communications efforts, including media relations and advocacy programs.

From 2011 to 2015, Kristen worked at Marina Maher Communications as a Senior Account Supervisor and Senior Media Specialist. In this role, they provided strategic earned and paid media recommendations for various accounts in the health & wellbeing and consumer practices.

Prior to that, Kristen worked as an Account Supervisor at M Booth & Associates from December 2006 to August 2011. Kristen managed integrated marketing campaigns for food, cookware, and consumer product brands.

Kristen began their career as an Account Executive at Susan Magrino Agency in 2006, where they executed communication and media relations strategies for lifestyle brands.

Before that, they worked as an Account Executive at PadillaCR from July 2004 to March 2006, specializing in marketing to women and cause-related marketing.

Lastly, Kristen started their career as an Intern/Junior Account Coordinator at Bratskeir & Company from June 2002 to May 2004.

Kristen Conte has a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations from Quinnipiac University. Kristen also has minors in French and Psychology.
