Aimee Smart is a senior disputes lawyer and solicitor-advocate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where Aimee has been employed since May 2023, specializing in complex cross-border commercial litigation and arbitration. Aimee possesses extensive experience advising companies and individuals on a variety of commercial and financial issues, particularly those involving allegations of misconduct, fraud, and money laundering. Prior to the current role, Aimee held positions as Counsel and Associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP between March 2017 and July 2022, worked as an Associate at Addleshaw Goddard from June 2014 to February 2017, and completed a Trainee Solicitor program at Norton Rose Fulbright from May 2012 to May 2014.
