Daren H.

Daren H. is an experienced rig manager with extensive knowledge in drilling operations, currently employed at AKITA Drilling Ltd. since July 2005. Responsibilities include managing daily rig operations, overseeing maintenance and logistics, ensuring compliance with well control procedures, and maintaining communication between field and corporate offices. Daren has a solid background in technical troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment and has completed rigorous drilling reports. Prior to this role, Daren worked as an assembly technician at Weatherford Ampscot, assembling and preparing pump jacks, and as a carpenter at HS Hickey Ltd., gaining hands-on experience in commercial and residential projects. Daren holds a Journeyman degree in Rig Technician 3 from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
