Marianne Horton

Marianne Horton is currently working as Sonia Harrington's assistant at Akita. Marianne has previously worked as a group accountant and associate director of finance at Kingswood Group from January 2011 to August 2019. There, they were responsible for the production of monthly management accounts and MI, annual budgeting, cashflow forecasting, quarterly VAT and FCA returns, financial statements, and credit control. The company grew substantially during their time there, and they were responsible for dealing with 2-3 acquisitions each year and incorporating each into the group. Marianne also implemented the move from Sage 50 to Sage 200. Horton has also worked as a client manager at E2W Limited from January 2010 to February 2011, an accountant at Ashcourt Rowan Group from September 2001 to January 2010, and as head of client liaison at Foreign & Colonial Asset Management from September 1996 to January 2001.

Marianne Horton has an ACCA Professional Accountancy qualification in Accounting from the ACCA. Marianne also has an A' Level in Accountancy and a BTEC National Diploma in Business & Finance from Mid Kent College of Higher & Further Education. Marianne also has an Associate degree from Chatham Grammar School.
