Alexa McWhorter

Alexa McWhorter is a skilled CAD Engineer at AKJOHNSTON Group since April 2024 and has held the role of Production Designer at Lemonlight since July 2021. Previously, Alexa served as a Studio Operations Coordinator at Industrial Light & Magic, where responsibilities included scheduling and coordinating events and managing resources for screening rooms. With experience as Station Manager at Triton Television, Alexa oversaw a film studio, managed meetings, and ensured project goals were met. Additional roles include internships and technician positions at UCSD Educational Technology Services and UCSD Media Teaching Lab, focusing on video production and student support. Alexa earned a Master of Arts in Production Design from The American Film Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Video and Photographic Arts from UC San Diego.
