Luiz Carlos de Oliveira Fonseca Junior

Luiz Carlos de Oliveira Fonseca Junior is an experienced offshore manager with a strong background in subsea wells completion and intervention operations. Currently serving as Offshore Manager at AKOFS Offshore since August 2017, Luiz oversees contract management under a Petrobras agreement, utilizing the Skandi Santos vessel for various installations and interventions in the Campos, Santos, and Espírito Santo Basins. Previously, Luiz held multiple roles at FMC Technologies from 2005 to 2016, including Service Manager and Operations Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed business development, management of offshore services, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams. Luiz holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and a degree in Business Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
