Michael Nguy

Michael Nguy has diverse work experience in the field of process development and engineering. Michael is currently working at Akouos as a Process Development Engineer, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to that, they were employed at Biogen as a Process Development Engineer - Pilot from May 2020 to October 2021. Michael also gained experience as an Office Assistant III at Northeastern University Department of Chemical Engineering from September 2018 to May 2020. Additionally, they worked as an Upstream Process Development Co-op at Solid Biosciences from May 2019 to December 2019, and as a Process Development Co-op at uniQure from January 2018 to June 2018. Michael'searliest work experience was as a Downstream Protein Purification Research Associate Co-op at Repligen Corporation from January 2017 to September 2017.

Michael Nguy attended Northeastern University from 2015 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biochemical Engineering. Michael then continued their education at Northeastern University from 2018 to 2020, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management. In addition to their degrees, Michael also obtained several certifications, including "An Introduction to Process Safety" from AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers in March 2019, "HAZMAT First Responder Operations Level II" from HazMat Student, LLC in December 2022, and "Biomedical Research" from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in November 2018.
