Michelle Poulin has extensive experience in the field of biosciences, with a focus on flow cytometry and mass cytometry applications. Michelle has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Graduate Student and Immunology Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Michelle then worked as a Lab Manager at National Jewish Health, where they supervised laboratory personnel and mentored research assistants and graduate students. Michelle joined BD Biosciences as a Senior Flow Cytometry Instructor, providing training courses on flow cytometry instruments and software, as well as consulting on assay development and experimental design. Michelle later transitioned to Fluidigm/DVS Sciences Inc. as a Field Applications Scientist before moving to Fluidigm Corporation, where they held positions as a Manager and Director of Mass Cytometry Field Applications. Currently, Michelle is the Director of Clinical Applications and Support at Akoya Biosciences, Inc. Their expertise includes cytometry assays, immunophenotyping, and experimental troubleshooting.

Michelle Poulin earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology, General from Smith College between 1986 and 2000. Michelle later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Immunology from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus between 1992 and 2000.
