Lexan Lhu has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology industry. They began their career at Penn State University as a Graduate Researcher, conducting research on protein demethylation for methyltransferase proteins. They also served as a Teaching Assistant in the Nutrition Department during their time at the university.

After their time at Penn State, Lexan joined Joule Unlimited Technologies, Inc. as a Research Associate, focusing on cell development. They later transitioned into the role of Bioprocess Engineer.

Lexan continued their career at Charter Medical, Ltd. as an Application Engineer, specializing in regenerative medicine and bioprocess. They then took on the role of Sales Engineer, where they were responsible for selling technical products and solutions.

Following their experience at Charter Medical, Lexan joined PBS Biotech, Inc. as a Senior Sales Engineer, further developing their skills in sales and engineering.

Currently, Lexan is an Associate Director of Business Development at Akron Biotech, where they are involved in driving the company's growth and establishing strategic partnerships.

Lexan Lhu obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Maine in 2005. Later, from 2005 to 2009, Lexan attended Penn State University where they earned a Master's degree in Chemical Biology.
