Tom Bown

Tom Bown is a Magistrate/ Judicial Associate at Akron Municipal Court, where Tom has been working since January 2020. Prior to this, Tom served as an Assistant Law Director at the City of Akron Law Department from May 2011 to January 2020. Tom's legal experience includes handling criminal, election, and appellate law cases throughout the State of Ohio. Tom also worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney at Summit County Prosecutor's office and as a Judicial Assistant at Summit County Court of Common Pleas. Tom holds a J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law and a B.A. in History and Economics from Miami University.
