Yohei Sugiyama

As a Senior Portfolio Advisor, Yohei is part of the Portfolio Advisory team in Asia responsible for alternative investment programs and focuses on platform building, portfolio construction and manager selection, providing customized investment recommendations and regular portfolio updates across alternative investment programs.

Prior to joining Aksia in 2022, Yohei was a Senior Fund Analyst at Nomura Fiduciary Research and Consulting (n/k/a Nomura Fund Research and Technology), where he held a senior role in the research team covering private equity, infrastructure, and private debt investment funds. Before that, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Nomura Asset Management covering alternative/traditional investment funds. Prior to that he was in the Client Coverage/Analytic Sales Group at MSCI Inc. and a Portfolio Manager at Mizuho Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. He started his career at Nippon Life Insurance Company.

Yohei graduated from the University of Tokyo with a BS in Economics, and he is a Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
