Carlos Velez

Carlos Velez has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Carlos began their career as a Customer Service Representative at Video Avenue Corp in 2008, followed by a Customer Service Sales Representative at Sam's Club in 2009. In 2011, they joined the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Electrician and Diesel Mechanic. In 2018, they worked as a Maintenance Mechanic/ Machinist at Simonds Saw and a Manufacturing Technician at Insulet Corporation. In 2019, they moved to Medtronic as a Senior Manufacturing Technician and currently works as a Senior Manufacturing Facilities Mechanic at Akston Biosciences Corporation since 2021.

Carlos Velez holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UMass Boston, which they completed in 2018. Carlos also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Puerto Rico, which they completed in 2010.
