Chris O'Meara

Project Director at AKT II

Chris O'Meara has a strong work experience in the field of structural engineering. Chris started their career as a Graduate Structural Engineer at Dixon Hurst Kemp in October 2010 and worked there until May 2012. Chris then joined AKT II in May 2012 and held various roles including Design Engineer, Senior Engineer, Associate, Associate Director, and currently serves as a Project Director. During their time at AKT II, Chris has worked on a range of projects such as the Edge London Bridge, Victoria Street redevelopment, Red Sea Nujuma Resort in Saudi Arabia, Watermark in West Quay, and Rathbone Square in London. Chris'sexpertise includes steel frame construction, building renovations, large transfer structures, and long span concrete and steel elements.

Chris O'Meara obtained a 1st degree in MEng Civil and Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield, which was completed between 2006 and 2010.
