Mingzhe Mingzhe is an experienced professional in the field of wind engineering, currently serving as an Associate at AKT II since November 2019. As a Senior Wind Engineer and a co-opted committee member of the UK Wind Engineering Society, Mingzhe Mingzhe has contributed significantly by raising awareness of wind engineering among students and supporting early-career engineers. Previous roles include a Research Fellow in Wind Engineering at the University of Birmingham, where high-fidelity numerical simulations were conducted, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Bristol, engaging with students in civil engineering modules. Mingzhe Mingzhe holds a PhD in Wind Engineering from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Steel Construction from The University of Sheffield.
AKT II
AKT II is a design-led structural and civil engineering consultancy that has won over 300 awards for its work in the UK and across the world. The practice was formed in 1996 as Adams Kara Taylor and later known as AKT. In 2011, with the addition of two new Principals and as the next chapter in its progress, the practice was renamed AKT II.
