Eiríkur Steingrímsson

Eirikur Steingrimsson is a founder of Akthelia and professor of Molecular Biology in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Iceland and is an expert in gene regulation.

He has over 20 years of experience in this area and has published his work in leading international journals.

He is an EMBO member. During the years 2003-2005, he served as the CSO of Iceland Genomics Corporation, now a component of Decode Genetics.
