Henri Heinonen

Henri Heinonen is an experienced information security leader currently serving as Director, Head of Information Security, and Chief Information Security Officer at Aktia since November 2006, where responsibilities include overseeing information security activities and participating in the CIO office and IT management team. Prior to this role, Henri held multiple positions at Helsinki Polytechnic from 2004 to 2006, including IT Manager - Application Platforms, Team Lead - Network and Unix, and Java Developer, focusing on designing and implementing JavaEE-based applications. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Service Manager at Sodexho Shore Oy from 1999 to 2003, overseeing supervisory responsibilities. Henri is pursuing advanced studies, working toward a Master’s degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at JAMK University of Applied Sciences since 2017, and also engaged in a Master’s program in Computer Science and Engineering at Aalto University since 2007.
