Ilona Mutanen

Ilona Mutanen has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Ilona started their career in 2001 at Hypo-konserni, where they held various roles such as Treasury Specialist, Bookkeeper, and Payroll Clerk. In this position, they were responsible for tasks such as cash management, liquidity planning, financial accounting, and customer service. Ilona then joined Plan International Finland as a Financial Coordinator before moving on to Kuntarahoitus Oyj - Municipality Finance Plc, where they worked as an Accounting Specialist for over a decade.

In 2018, Mutanen joined OP Financial Group as a Senior Business Analyst in the Development and Technology department, specializing in regulatory reporting. Ilona'sresponsibilities included the development of regulatory reporting in accordance with ECB and EBA regulations, specifically focusing on financial information reporting for OP's foreign branches in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Ilona successfully implemented the OP Agile Development Model, resulting in the team achieving the top ranking for the quality of ANACREDIT reporting to the European Central Bank.

More recently, in 2019, Mutanen joined Aktia as a Project Lead and Senior Risk Controller, specializing in regulatory reporting. Ilona'srole at Aktia involves overseeing and managing regulatory reporting projects, ensuring data quality, and meeting tight deadlines.

Throughout their career, Mutanen has gained extensive experience in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and project management. Ilona has a strong track record of ensuring data accuracy and meeting regulatory requirements in a timely manner.

Ilona Mutanen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Riskienhallinta ja rahoitus from Laurea University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2001. In 2006, they completed a program in Kiinteistönvälitys from Kiinteistöalan Koulutussäätiö, earning a Kiinteistöedustaja KED certification.
