Josep Solà

Josep Solà is the Co-Founder and CTO at Aktiia. Prior to this, they worked at Association Suisse des Guides de Montagne as the Leader of R&D and BD in Cuffless Blood Pressure Monitoring. Josep has also worked at CSEM and Sony. At CSEM, they were the Coordinator of R&D activity and clinical trials for various optical and impedance blood pressure sensors. At Sony, they worked as a Master thesis student and an assistant to the speech recognition research team.

Josep Solà studied electrical engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they received their degree in engineering. Josep also pursued a Master's degree in European language and speech at the same school. Later, they obtained their Doctor of Sciences degree in continuous non-invasive blood pressure estimation from ETH Zurich. Additionally, they are a certified Guide de Haute Montagne UIAGM from the Association Suisse des Guides de Montagne.

Josep Solà reports to Michael Kisch, CEO & Board Member. Josep Solà works with Elizabeth Meagher, SHRM-SCP, SPHR - Global Head of People and Culture, Mathieu Danthony - Group Head of Finance, and Ildi Crist - Head Of Global Marketing.
