Aruni Mahapatra

Aruni Mahapatra has a diverse work experience starting from 2004. They began their career as a Trade & Forex Counselor at Citibank India and later moved on to ING as a Financial Markets Structuring & Sales Corporate. In 2013, Aruni joined RBL Bank as Head South - Financial Markets. They held this position until 2018. In 2019, Aruni became the Co-founder and Director of Strategy and International Partnership at AktiVolt, where they focused on helping OEMs, institutions, and fleet operators with EV and ESS battery strategies. In 2021, Aruni co-founded Battery IQ, an organization contributing to the adoption of sustainable mobility and green finance by predicting, monitoring, and mitigating battery risks in the EV/Financing ecosystem. Lastly, in 2023, Aruni became a Board Member at Fund Management Entity | CAMPL (IFSC) | GIFT CITY.

Aruni Mahapatra received a Master of International Business Administration from Banaras Hindu University. They also obtained a Master of Financial Management with a focus on Sustainable Finance from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. Additionally, Aruni completed a certification in Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) through the GARP SCR program.
