Vasilis Panagopoulos

Vasilis Panagopoulos is an experienced Mechanical Engineer and Site Manager specializing in procurement, design, and commissioning within wastewater treatment and related projects. Currently serving as Site Manager at J/V AKTOR SA - AVAX SA - ERGOTEM SA since April 2022, Vasilis oversees significant projects such as the Operation and Maintenance of the Psyttalia Wastewater Biological Treatment Plant. Vasilis has held positions at AKTOR SA since February 2014, contributing to various wastewater treatment plants through roles that include mechanical engineering and site management. Previous experience encompasses leadership in mechanical departments, project management, and supervision of installations across multiple prestigious projects, including the Bucharest WWTP rehabilitation and the Jabel Ali Sewage Treatment plant in Dubai. Vasilis holds a degree from the National Technical University of Athens, completed in 2004.
