Rainer Kaufmann is currently the Treasurer at Aktuarvereinigung Österreichs AVÖ. Prior to this, they were a Director at EY from May 2014 to September 2020. Before that, they worked as the Center of Excellence Risk at SAS from January 2008 to April 2014. Prior to that, they worked as an actuary at different actuarial consulting companies from January 1998 to December 2008.
Rainer Kaufmann has a Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) credential from the German Actuarial Society, a Financial Risk Management (FRM) credential from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), and is a fully qualified actuary from the AVÖ (Actuarial Association of Austria). Rainer has a Diplom in Actuarial Mathematics from the Technische Universität Wien.
