Bob W.

Bob W. has over 19 years of experience in the engineering field. In 2003, they began their career at Supertex as a Systems Engineer and Design Engineer. In 2012, they moved to Think Surgical as an Electrical Engineering Manager, where they developed a strategy for robot design, implementation, safety/risk, production/testing, and service. Bob then joined Auris Surgical Robotics, Inc. in 2015 as an Electrical Engineering Manager, developing and implementing the electrical architecture for a next generation robotically driven surgical device. In 2016, Bob W. became the Director of Electrical Engineering at Cutera, Inc., leading the team responsible for all electrical subsystems. In 2018, they moved to Nevro as a Sr. EE Manager and Principal Systems Engineer, managing cross-functional teams to meeting goals for requirements, planning, risk management, electronics deliverables, verification/validation, manufacturing testing and transfer, and sustaining activities. Finally, in 2022, Bob W. joined Akura Medical as the Director of Engineering.

Bob W. attended Florin High School and then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University-Sacramento from 1998 to 2002.
