Erik Schouw-Hansen has a diverse work experience history. Erik started their career as a Private in Gunnerside (HV-03 QRF) from January 2006 to January 2009. Moving forward, from 2005 to 2008, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Law and Management at the University of South-Eastern Norway. During this time, they did not specify a specific degree name.

In 2007, Schouw-Hansen attended the Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business, where they continued their studies in the BBA Law and Management program. Erik remained there until 2008 when they transferred to the University of Oslo (UiO). At UiO, they participated in the GründerSkolen program, which focused on entrepreneurship. Additionally, in 2008, they also attended the University of the Witwatersrand, specializing in Entrepreneurship through their School of Entrepreneurship.

Erik completed the program for the year, and subsequently, in the same year, they joined Molde University College to further their studies in the field. At Molde University College, they specifically focused on Supply Chain Strategy within the MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management program.
