Armand Sohet

Armand Sohet currently serves as the Chief Sustainability, HR and Communications Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer at AkzoNobel since July 2023. Prior to this role, Armand held the position of Chief Sustainability and Human Resources Officer at Sulzer from March 2016 to June 2023. Armand has extensive experience in human resources leadership, including the role of Vice President HR for the Grid Division at GE from October 2011 to February 2016, focusing on a major player in the electrical transmission sector. Previously, Armand was Group VP HR at Constellium and VP HR at Thales, organizations recognized for their innovative solutions in aluminum and critical systems for defense and aerospace. Armand's career began at Novartis, where multiple leadership roles in human resources were undertaken from June 1998 to February 2007, followed by a decade at PSA Peugeot Citroën in various HR management positions starting in 1989. Armand holds a Master’s degree in Economics and International Relations from Sciences Po and furthered education at Besançon University.
