Monica Tapias

Monica Tapias has extensive work experience in marketing and brand communications roles. Monica is currently the Head of Brand Communications - Iberia at AkzoNobel, a position they started in June 2022. Previously, they worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as the Head of Marketing Communications - Spain from May 2015 to June 2022. Before that, Monica was a Marketing Manager - EMEA at HP from 2012 to 2015. Monica also served as the Marketing Communications Director - North America at Vivaro Corporation from 2006 to 2011. Monica started their career as an Account Supervisor at GlobalHue in 2005, and prior to that, they were a Digital Marketing Manager at Iberia from 2000 to 2004.

Monica Tapias has a Masters degree in Marketing Management from Esade, obtained in 2003-2004. In 2006, they completed a program in Business Communication at New York University. In 2017, they pursued a Masters in Communications & PR at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Recently, in 2021, they attended IE Business School for a Digital Marketing degree.
