Rene de Laat

Rene de Laat is a finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), project management, and process improvement across various companies. Currently serving as the Head of FP&A Business Intelligence at AkzoNobel since January 2021, Rene has led significant projects including the implementation of a harmonized BI COPA model and the transition of management reporting to a global standard. Previous roles include ownership of Sundial Solutions, interim leadership positions at Carlsberg Group, and project management at Upfield, where Rene deployed the SAP BPC planning and consolidation tool.
