Islam Gomaa

Islam Gomaa is an experienced IT leader with a career spanning over two decades in the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait - Egypt, Islam drives IT strategy to align with organizational goals and fosters a digital vision through collaboration with senior leadership. Prior to this role, Islam held several positions at CIB Egypt, including Head of Infrastructure Management, where responsibilities included building a competitive and agile infrastructure and leading technology operations. Earlier experience at IBM involved providing critical support and guidance for hardware systems and customer care. Islam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Electronic Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Helwan University.
