Sameer Yousaf

Sameer Yousaf is an experienced professional in the field of technology and cybersecurity risk, currently serving as the Head of Technology and Cybersecurity Risk at Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait since March 2023. In this role, Sameer leads a team of Information Security and Risk professionals, making key security and technology decisions that shape the future of the bank. Prior to this, Sameer held the position of Senior Manager in IT Risk and Cybersecurity at the same institution, emphasizing a commitment to managing risk postures. Experience at EYEY included roles as Assistant Manager in Business Consulting, where Sameer focused on the financial services sector, and as a Senior Consultant in Technology Risk/Cyber Security. Earlier career roles at SEEDiS and ABS involved managing IT departments, client support services, and providing technical support. Sameer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Arab Open University and completed secondary education at the International School and College of Pakistan in Kuwait.
