Eng. Ahmed Alameri

Eng. Ahmed AlAmeri currently serves as the VIP Premises Operations Unit Head at Al Ain Distribution Company, a position held since May 2018, where responsibilities include developing operational plans for efficient power distribution and managing over 54 employees across various switching stations. Prior to this role, Ahmed worked as a VIP Premises Operations Engineer at the same company, focusing on automatic transfer switch (AMF) implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation from January 2014 to April 2018. Ahmed began their career as a volunteer Research Assistant at the Emirates Center For Energy & Environment Research, contributing to research on photovoltaic and energy storage systems from January 2013 to January 2014. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration and Management at United Arab Emirates University.
