Brian Seilstad

Brian Seilstad is the current Director for Internationalization & Partnerships at Al Akhawayn University. Prior to this, they were a consultant with Team-Up for Youth, where they helped design and implement the AmeriCorps*VISTA program. Brian also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, where they coordinated youth programs and directed English language camps.

Brian Seilstad has a Ph.D. in Education from The Ohio State University, a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Oxford Seminars, and a Course in Financial Management for Nonprofit Organizations from the University of Illinois Chicago. Brian also has an M.A. in Classical Languages and Literatures from Bryn Mawr College and a B.A. in Classical Languages and Literatures from the University of Montana. In addition, they have certification from Coursera in Democratic Development and Aboriginal Worldviews and Education.

They are on a team with Ghita Ettahri Moussalit - Head of Student Listening Unit, Adil Kamane - Director, Athletics & Campus Life. Brian Seilstad reports to Abdessamad Fatmi, Dean of Student Affairs.
