Yassir Touhami

Yassir Touhami is the current Chief Operating Officer at Al Akhawayn University. Prior to this, they worked as the Group Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for Emirates Telecommunications Corporation - Etisalat from January 2008 to January 2012. Touhami also has experience working in sales, having served as Sales Manager - Services for Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa for HP from January 2004 to December 2008. Touhami began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer - E-Business Solutions for S2M - COFIMAG Holding and later worked as Senior IT Systems Administrator & Governance Manager for Ericsson from January 2002 to December 2004.

Yassir Touhami received a baccalaureate in mathematics sciences from Moulay Youssef High School. Yassir then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Al Akhawayn University. After working for a few years, they decided to pursue an MBA and earned their degree from the London Business School with a focus in finance, international business, and economics. Most recently, they completed a Master of Science in telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh.

Yassir Touhami works with Sofia Hazzaz - Director of Human Capital, Hamza Dalil - Chief Marketing Officer, and Saad Lahlou - Chief Financial Officer. Yassir Touhami reports to Amine Bensaid, President.
