Jorge Figueroa has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in various companies. Jorge is currently serving as the Director of Trade Marketing at Inter-Continental Cigar Corporation. Prior to this, they worked at JTI (Japan Tobacco International), where they held the positions of Marketing Director for the Central America, Caribbean, and South America Cluster, Joint Venture Lead, and Regional Portfolio and Marketing Manager for the Americas Region. Before joining JTI, Jorge worked as a Project Manager at Johnson & Johnson and as a Senior Brand Manager at Imperial Tobacco. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Western Union and British American Tobacco, including roles such as Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Area Sales Manager, Trade Marketing Manager, and Trade Marketing Representative. Through their varied roles, Jorge has gained extensive experience in marketing, trade marketing, and project management.
Jorge Figueroa holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, completed from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Yacambú, from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Fostering Diversity & Inclusion from Yale School of Management, JTI Digital Upskilling Programme from Circus Street, and Launch Into Leadership from ExecOnline, Inc., all in the year 2020.
