Grainne Sharpley

Grainne Sharpley started their work experience as a Senior Internal Auditor in the Governance Risk and Internal Audit Department at Mazars Ireland in November 2008. During their time there, they gained extensive experience in internal audit, risk management, compliance, best practices, and corporate governance. Grainne also had detailed knowledge of auditing financial statements in accordance with International Auditing Standards. Grainne worked at Mazars Ireland until August 2013.

In August 2013, Grainne joined Walkers as a Regional Financial Accountant. Grainne held this role until November 2016, when they were promoted to Regional Finance Manager. At Walkers, Grainne had important responsibilities in the finance department.

Grainne's most recent work experience is as a Financial Controller at A&L Goodbody, starting in May 2018.

Grainne Sharpley attended the University of Galway from 2005 to 2008 where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Financial Accounting. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to study at Chartered Accountants Ireland where they obtained their ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification.
