Maureen Olsen has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Maureen started their career as a Legal Assistant at General Electric in 1999 and 2000. Maureen then worked as a Tutorial Assistant in Constitutional Law at the University of Limerick in 2001. From 2003 to 2012, they served as a Paralegal and Research Assistant at the Planning Tribunal, where they were promoted twice. In this role, they investigated and reported on planning corruption in County Dublin. Following this, they joined the Irish Music Rights Organisation Limited as a Litigation Legal Executive from 2012 to 2016, managing a significant caseload of debt recovery matters and handling various legal tasks. Currently, Maureen works at A&L Goodbody as a Legal Executive, specializing in Banking & Finance since 2016.
Maureen Olsen earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universite de Besancon in France from 1996 to 2000. Maureen then pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) in European and Comparative Law at the University of Limerick from 2000 to 2001. In 2002 and 2003, they attended Universite de Lyon 3, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Environmental Law.
