Omar al Wakeel

Omar Al Wakeel has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Omar started their career in 2009 as a Network Engineer at ADinSPOT. Omar then worked as a Network Administrator at USSC in 2010. In 2011, they joined Almaalim int. Co. LTD as a Projects Engineer. From 2013 to present, they have been with Al Hokair Group, starting as a Network & System Engineer and gradually progressing to IT Infrastructure & Operation Manager, and then to the role of Information Technology Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Group Director of Information Technology at Al Hokair Group. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for a wide range of tasks such as hardware and software installation, maintenance and repair, system audits, network analysis, and budget management.

Omar Al Wakeel completed their Bachelor's degree in Networks & Operating Systems Engineering from Damascus University, from 2002 to 2009. In addition, they obtained certifications such as the SCRUM Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf, as well as Network Security Expert (NSE1) and Network Security Expert (NSE2) from Fortinet, in April 2020.
