Julianne Kiesel

Interventionist at Al-Iman School

Julianne Kiesel is an experienced Interventionist at Al-Iman School since September 2017 and has served as the OPT Plus Team Lead and Licensed Clinical Social Worker at B&D Integrated Health Services since December 2016. In this role, Julianne provides individual and family therapy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing techniques, while also responding to client crisis calls. Prior experience includes working as an LCSWA at Exceptional Educators, LLC, where Julianne implemented clinical interventions for children with special needs, and as a Residential Counselor at Open House Youth Shelter, facilitating daily shelter management and crisis intervention services. Julianne holds a Master of Social Work degree from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
