Bertha Wang

Bertha Wang is an experienced freelance professional in the fields of news editing, photography, and community management. Currently serving as a Freelance Deputy News Editor and News Producer at Al Jazeera Media Network since June 2019, Bertha provides editorial, translation, and logistical support to correspondents, while also researching and suggesting story elements. Bertha has extensive photography experience, freelancing with multiple organizations including EPA Images, The Associated Press, Bloomberg News, and AFP since 2021, as well as running Bertha Wang Photography since 2018, focusing on music videos, events, and stock photography. In addition, Bertha holds the position of Community & Creative Manager at LocalMotion Ltd since 2018 and has prior experience as a Project Coordinator at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Educated with a Master of Arts in Photography and Urban Cultures from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor of Social Science in Government and Public Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Bertha also possesses a strong educational background in social sciences and Spanish studies.
