Diarmaid Fleming

Diarmaid Fleming is an experienced programme editor currently working at Al Jazeera Media Network since July 2021, overseeing the daily discussion programme "Inside Story." Previously, Diarmaid served as an editor for RTE, managing several prominent news programmes such as "Morning Ireland" and "This Week." Diarmaid has held various roles at Al Jazeera and the BBC, contributing as a correspondent and reporter across multiple platforms, including radio and television. The career also includes freelance journalism, specializing in news-reporting and feature assignments, with early training as a broadcast journalist at the BBC. Diarmaid holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin and is a Chartered Engineer, currently pursuing a Fellowship with the Institution of Engineers of Ireland.
