James Hamilton

James Hamilton is a seasoned producer with extensive experience in broadcast news. Currently serving as a field producer at Al Jazeera English since April 2008, Hamilton is responsible for generating, researching, developing, and executing correspondent field and enterprise reports, as well as overseeing long-range editorial projects. Prior experience includes roles at MSNBC from March 2003 to June 2007 as a segment producer for various news programs, and at ABC News from October 1989 to February 2001 as a field producer for major news shows. Hamilton began a career in media as a writer/producer at WABC-TV from October 1987 to October 1989. Educational background includes studies in English and journalism at the University of Michigan, along with coursework at Mott Community College.
