Laila Al-Arian is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in journalism and documentary production. Currently serving as the Executive Producer of "Fault Lines" at Al Jazeera Media Network since May 2008, Laila has a history of overseeing significant documentary projects and leading production teams. Previous roles include Senior Producer and Producer for "Fault Lines," where Laila produced award-winning documentaries and contributed articles. Earlier career highlights include positions as a Researcher/Writer at The Nation, a Reporter for The Current Newspapers, and an intern with both United Press International and USA TODAY. Laila holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in History from Georgetown University.
