Vakul Agarwal

Vakul Agarwal is an experienced Broadcast Engineer currently serving as a Sr. Broadcast Engineer at Al Jazeera Media Network since July 2023, after transitioning from a Broadcast Engineer role at the same organization since September 2019. In this capacity, Vakul primarily supports live broadcasting and the vizrt system within a 24/7 live studio news production environment. Prior experience includes a tenure at Benchmark Broadcast Systems from July 2014 to September 2019, where responsibilities encompassed implementation, testing, commissioning, and support as a Senior Broadcast Engineer. Vakul's career began as a Broadcast Engineer trainee at Benchmark Broadcast Systems, focusing on the design phase of broadcast projects. Vakul holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Hindustan College Of Science and Technology, completed in 2014, and completed 12th grade with a focus on PCM at Sumeet Rahul Goel Memorial Sr. Sec. School in 2010.
