Judi Aldalati is a dedicated research and communications professional with extensive experience in journalism, research, and teaching. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre and a Research Assistant at the Balsillie School of International Affairs, Judi collaborates with Dr. Izabela Steflja on a project focusing on children involved with armed groups. As a journalist at Al-Monitor since May 2020, Judi contributes to informative reporting within the field. Previous roles include Communications Coordinator for Arab Barometer at Princeton University and Teaching Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University. Notably, as a researcher at Reception House Waterloo Region, Judi focused on transitional housing for female-headed refugee households. With a Master's degree in Applied Politics from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Lebanese American University, combined with an exchange experience at Virginia Commonwealth University, Judi possesses a strong academic foundation to complement practical fieldwork.
